1. About these Terms
These Terms of Use apply to your use of the Credlyst website at https://credlyst.com, the Credlyst app and related services.
Credlyst is operated by ABN 50 628 917 297.
By accessing or using Credlyst, you agree to these Terms. If you use Credlyst on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Using the website and app
Credlyst helps users turn expertise, evidence, proof, claims, source material, customer proof, research, citations and internal knowledge into credible content assets.
You must use Credlyst lawfully, responsibly and in accordance with these Terms.
We may make some parts of Credlyst available through a website, private beta, signup flow, SaaS application or other access model. Access may depend on eligibility, availability, invitation, account approval or separate commercial terms.
3. Accounts and access
To use some features, you may need to create an account or provide signup information.
You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login details;
- all activity under your account, except where caused by our breach of these Terms or negligence;
- notifying us promptly of any unauthorised access or suspected security issue.
We may refuse, suspend or limit access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, misuse, suspected breach of these Terms, product integrity or operational reasons.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use Credlyst to:
- break the law or encourage unlawful conduct;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights;
- upload material you do not have the right to use;
- upload malicious code, harmful files or security threats;
- interfere with the security, availability or integrity of Credlyst;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data;
- misrepresent outputs as independently verified by Credlyst unless we have expressly confirmed that;
- use outputs in a misleading, deceptive, defamatory or unlawful way;
- scrape, copy or misuse the platform in a way that is not reasonably connected to normal use, except where allowed by law;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, models, systems or underlying technology, except where allowed by law.
5. User content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you upload, submit or provide to Credlyst.
You give Credlyst a limited licence to use, host, copy, process, transmit, display, analyse and modify your content to the extent reasonably necessary to:
- provide the service;
- operate, maintain and secure the website and app;
- generate, organise or assist with outputs;
- troubleshoot, support and improve the service;
- comply with law and enforce these Terms.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all rights, permissions and lawful bases needed to upload, submit and use your content through Credlyst.
You must not upload confidential, sensitive, regulated or third-party material unless you have authority to do so and you are comfortable with it being processed as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
6. AI-assisted outputs and responsibility to review
Credlyst may use AI-assisted or automated functionality to help generate, organise, summarise, analyse or structure content.
You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before publishing, relying on or sharing them.
You acknowledge that outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, unsuitable, similar to other content, or affected by the quality of the material you provide.
Credlyst does not guarantee that outputs will be accurate, original, compliant, non-infringing, suitable for a particular purpose or ready to publish without review.
You are responsible for deciding whether an output is appropriate for your intended use, including whether it needs legal, compliance, editorial, factual, technical or professional review.
7. Intellectual property
Credlyst owns or licenses all rights in the website, app, software, workflows, templates, designs, branding, systems, documentation and underlying intellectual property.
Except as allowed by these Terms or law, you must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, licence or create derivative works from Credlyst's platform, branding, software or underlying materials.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your user content to Credlyst.
8. Third-party services and links
Credlyst may use or link to third-party services, websites, platforms, tools or integrations.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, performance, terms or privacy practices.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and policies.
9. No professional advice
Credlyst does not provide legal, financial, medical, investment, compliance, accounting, tax or other professional advice.
Any content, suggestions, summaries or outputs generated through Credlyst are for general information and workflow support only.
You should obtain professional advice where appropriate before relying on outputs for regulated, high-risk or business-critical decisions.
10. Service availability and changes
We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but we do not guarantee that Credlyst will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue parts of the website, app or service from time to time. Where reasonable, we will try to give notice of material changes that significantly affect active users.
11. Fees and subscriptions
Credlyst may introduce paid plans, subscriptions, trials, usage limits or enterprise terms in the future.
Any fees, billing terms, renewals, cancellations, refunds or subscription conditions should be set out in a separate order form, checkout flow, subscription page or written agreement.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and separate written commercial terms agreed with Credlyst, the separate written terms will apply to the extent of the conflict.
12. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights, guarantees, warranties or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
Where we are allowed by law to limit remedies for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, our liability may be limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having the services supplied again.
13. Liability
Subject to the Australian Consumer Law and any non-excludable rights:
- Credlyst is not responsible for losses caused by your breach of these Terms, your content, your misuse of the service, or your failure to review outputs before use;
- Credlyst is not responsible for third-party services, links, integrations or platforms that we do not control;
- Credlyst is not responsible for business decisions, publications, claims, campaigns or materials you create using the service;
- Credlyst is not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or loss of data, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate your access where reasonably necessary, including if:
- you materially breach these Terms;
- your use creates a security, legal, operational or reputational risk;
- you infringe third-party rights;
- you misuse Credlyst or attempt unauthorised access;
- we are required to do so by law;
- you fail to pay fees under applicable separate payment terms.
Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before suspension or termination.
You may stop using Credlyst at any time.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The updated version will be posted on this page with the updated date. For material changes affecting active users, we may take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by website notice, app notice or email.
Changes will apply from the date stated in the updated Terms or the notice. They will not apply retrospectively unless required by law or agreed with you.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
The courts of Queensland, Australia will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.
